Hockey is Canada's game and this is the oldest rivalry in the NHL. The Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens have played each other since 1917, since then it has become the best rivalry in Canada. The leafs and the canadiens have the most Stanley cups in the NHL. With Montreal having won 24 Stanley cups and Toronto with 13, they are one and two in that category. On the other hand, hockey is still the most played game in Canada. From the streets to the rink, everyone loves playing hockey. Its' a religion to play hockey in this country, and that's why hockey is meant to be Canada's game.
